Section 1 – ABOUT THE BOOK: “The GOSPEL Of The HOLY 12”
Contains 127 photocopied pages, colour front and back cover, $50, wire bound, read and bound in the landscape format. The book has not been computerized, I have kept the original pages as they appeared in a 1974 reprinted version. Perhaps a later version will have it all computerized. Very fine print but still readable.
The front cover only says:
“Translated from the original Aramaic and edited by a Disciple of the Master…”
This is a very rare book with no ISBN; and I have not seen another in print, nor met anyone that has heard of it. It appears to be from the same body of works that documented the missing 18 years of Jesus’ life deleted from the modern bibles, and is essential reading.
Section 2 – BACK COVER BLURB
This rare Essene Bible was found in an urn in Tibet in a Buddhist monastery where it had been laying for 1800 years until it was recently rediscovered and translated from the ancient Aramaic (the language Jesus spoke) into English. Of the 4 translators, one of them was the famed Emmanuel Swedenborg (died 1772), the Swedish mystic and seer.
My particular interest in this manuscript is for 4 reasons:
1: I first discovered this book at the Adyar bookshop, Sydney, around the time of 1977 when I was 20 years of age and it was protruding from a top shelf. As I jumped to push the book back in place, I suddenly decided to grab it. I normally would not be standing in front of Christian material. This book changed my life.
2: As I flipped through the pages, this book had many images of Magic Squares of 3×3, 7×7 and 11×11 and sacred symbols like Pythagoras’ Triangle, Egyptian Ankhs, Star of Davids, Alpha and Omega symbols, Ground Plan of the Christian Church, Labyrinth etc.
3: The Lord’s Prayer, in Lection XIX, in the chapter: “Jesus Teaches Concerning Prayer” was the first book to honour both the Father and the Mother: It begins:
“OUR FATHER-MOTHER Who Art Above And Within: Hallowed Be Thy Sacred Name In Twofold Trinity. In Wisdom, Love and Equity Thy Kingdom Come To All…”.
I believe that the words “In Twofold Trinity” is a clear reference of the Phi Ratio which examines a Trinity of 3 parts into a specific twofold partitioning of 2 parts, one is the larger segment and the other is the smaller segment.
4: There is the most beautiful story about a man born blind from birth who Jesus heals. It is called: “The Examination of Him Who Was Born Blind” (Lection LIV). This man becomes devoted to Iesus’ teachings and asks many questions. It continues to describe the Divine Kingdom in terms of the Magic Square of 7×7 and is referred to as THE PARABLE OF THE SEVEN PALMS. From this material I have been inspired to create what I call THE THEATRE OF THE HOLY NUMBERS which is a creative re-eactment of this biblical scene.
The Magic Square of 11×11, like the 7×7 is important to the Essenes as the central crosses in both also add up to the Magic Sum or Constant of the Rows and Columns. In the Brief Commentary, the Magic Square of Eleven Perfected is subtitled: “Ecclesiae Militantis Sigilum”. which means the magic Square of 11×11 is the Churches’ Military Seal of Power or Defence.

4- The Magic Square of 7×7 describing the Parable of the 7 Palm.
The unusual part of this Magic Square is that the central crosses of 7 combined cells also add up to the same as the rows, columns and diagonals, which is not seen in any other magic squares. It therefore contained a mystical significance.
5- The Magic Square of 11×11, the Seal of Christ.
(Ecclesiae Militantis Sigilum)
This is a typical page of two columns per page, in small font, still readable, but preserved in its original 1974 presentation to show that nothing has been altered.
6 – The true likeness of Jesus.
7 – The Christian Essene Church FloorPlan
8 – A sample page with the Crown of Thorns, that says:
“The sorrows of the earth encompass my heart, yea,
they pierce it with thorns
but thou wilt yet fill the earth with love
and crown it with gladness”.
